Colchester Operatic Society, located in Colchester and falling under Colchester City Council, provides enriching after school club activities for those passionate about musical theatre. Founded in 1924, it stands as one of the region’s oldest musical theatre companies, with a rich history of over 130 shows and concerts involving thousands of cast and crew. Annually, they produce a main show, often running for two weeks at The Mercury Theatre, alongside a summer concert held at various smaller venues around Colchester. This after school club provides comprehensive childcare options with engaging learning and fun activities for young people to thrive creatively and personally.
