The Colchester & District Archery Club (CADAC), nestled in Colchester, Essex, provides an outstanding after school club experience for aspiring archers aged 10 and above. As a proud Archery GB OnTarget club, CADAC demonstrates an unwavering commitment to safety and excellence, ensuring all participants learn in a secure, welcoming, and positive environment with strong safeguarding practices in place. Expert, qualified coaching is at the heart of their program, guiding beginners through comprehensive courses and taster sessions, ensuring fundamental skills are built on solid foundations.

The club fosters remarkable skill progression through structured pathways like the highly motivating 252 Badge Scheme and an accessible handicap system, allowing members to track their development and set ambitious goals. A distinguishing feature is CADAC's innovative peer-training approach, where members actively support and teach one another, cultivating a genuinely collaborative learning environment that builds confidence and strong social connections. CADAC ensures exceptional flexibility for its members, welcoming archers of all disciplines and abilities, with convenient sessions available on Tuesday and Thursday evenings during summer at the Colchester Sports Park, and indoor shooting on Tuesday evenings in winter at Highwoods Sports Centre. Year-round Sunday morning sessions are also held at the Sports Park, with members even holding keys for convenient access to shoot at their leisure.
